Another little hilarity from Adam Roberts

Adam posted a funny little proto-review of District 9 on his blog. It's nowhere nearly as grand and brilliant as his take on The Wheel of Time, but it's still quite awesome in a geeky sort of way. I myself felt a particular and very strong dislike for this movie, as it seemed ridiculously pretentious and smug with its pretentiousness, so I'm always happy to see someone making fun of it.

And yet again, your friendly neighborhood Roland brings you all the hottest stuff, only a week after everybody else does! This music video made quite a splash in the last few days, and although it's insanely dumb, I have to say there's something really adorable in it. Also, the girl actually got to meet Bradbury! Good for her!

Cracked cracks six Sci-Fi techs

I stumbled upon this hilarious list of Six Baffling Flaws in Famous Sci-Fi Technology. Like most Cracked stuff, this is pure delight to read, particularly the part about the Technodrome from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Go check it out.
