Another magazine goes online-only. Wizard was one of my favorites, and I'll be really sad to see it go, especially considering the fact that I have never been even remotely interested in online publications. Perhaps I'm getting old... Anyway, more about the whole deal here.
As I recall, Wizard had kinda run itself into the ground when I stopped reading a couple of years ago: growing ever slimmer, with the ads taking up a disproportionate number of pages and precious little else to say between them.
ReplyDeleteStill, the market's not exactly hot for printed media these days. It's been sad to see so many of my old favourites gone to ground - Wizard's the latest but it's not likely to be the last - or else into the ether of no return that the internet's been to them. I'll raise a glass.
